I think Psalm 69 is probably one of the best Ministry songs ever. Jesus Built My Hotrod was good, but not nearly as good as Psalm 69. I saw them live in concert several months ago, and I am proud to say they played the loudest show I had ever witnessed. I mean it was painfully loud.

I am a Christian but I believe this" healing Ministry" is giving other Christian groups a black eye. It is unfounded and somewhat of a scam or fraud. Prayer yes , claiming to be an appointed healer is a scandal ready to happen.Be aware.
With the help of my preacher, I am currently starting a drama ministry at my church. However I do not know how to start, and all that the preacher has given me are a few books on the subject and books with skits. We have no budget currently for this minitsry. I have some theater experiance as an actor, however I have never taught it before.
what do I need inorder to start this ministry right so it lasts?
One thing you’re going to need is a way to generate interest. If you don’t have anyone to perform, you won’t have much of a drama ministry. We recently started a drama ministry at our church, and it’s composed of mostly youth and a few adults. Some songs are great for dramas. (Look at stuff by Casting Crowns, we’ve done several dramas to their stuff.) Some skits are good too, just watch out for some that will seem outdated to most people. There’s a book out by the Skit Guys (it’s blue and says "Cheese-Free Skits" on it) that’s really good. New Life Drama Ministry has some good material to work with as well. You ought to have them come visit your church and get interest generated for you. They’ll usually offer to leave a book of scripts with you if they know you’re trying to get a drama ministry.

I don’t know of any website off hand, but, you might consider using a program that will enable you to do it yourself. If you don’t want to invest in an expensive program like Illustrator, you may consider a free alternative like Inkscape: http://inkscape.org/screenshots/index.php?lang=en

The downside is there’s a bit of a learning curve to it if you’re unfamiliar with graphic programs. The plus, though, is you can print them out yourself or take them to Kinko’s or Staples and have them print them out on their color laser printers.

I am blessed in the helps ministry. I have administrative and counseling skills but I have no desire to lead. I encourage others and help them to succeed. Often, I am admonished by other members because I don’t seek leadership positions. Time is an issue with me and I find that I am more effective w/o an ongoing responsibility and "helps" allows me to accomplish many diverse tasks. Am I just missing something here?
You are not missing anything. The hecklers should be doing the leading instead of the harassing. Viewing this from another angle, a leader will look for other leaders to be around because people tend to flock towards their own kind, particularly leaders.

I try to be in my place if worship on Sunday mornings or Saturday evenings. On the rare occasion that I am home on Sunday I watch the following ministers: James Merritt, Ed Young, Jentezen Franklin, David Jeremiah, Charles Stanley, John Hagee, Paula White, TD Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis, Joyce Meyer, Perry Stone.. Other favorites Joseph Prince, Hal Lindsey. I have sent offerings but tithe at my local church.
