Just read these and if you can discredit them, congrats to you, even though I highly doubt you can.
First example of a fulfilled prophecy:
The City of Tyre.
In the Bible, Ezekiel was a prophet. In the Bible he predicted the destruction of Tyre thousands of years before it happened, being bold enough to say every bit of Tyre would be swept into the sea. Alexander the Great, which everyone agrees is real, right? was conquering Old Tyre. As he did so, he realized his navy couldn’t get him to New Tyre to conquer it. So he took the remains of Old Tyre, every stone, piece of lumber, scrap, anything and dumped it into the sea. He made a bridge and conquered New Tyre.
If you don’t take my word for it, read here about the bridge being made of "stones and wood": http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/05/070515-alexander-great_2.html
Another prophecy is the Immaculate Conception, or Virgin Conception.
Jesus’ birth was predicted in detail, in the 8th century BC. Of course many people know he was born, even other religions believe so.
Here are biblical quotes as proof (it shows both liberal and conservative views. For the sake of my argument, I’m referring to the Conservative views, which in my opinion are much less foggy): http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_proi.htm
The Nation of Israel rising again.
Israel and the land around it has been in controversy and dispute for thousands of years. In the Bible many references are made to Israelites being enslaved and Israel itself being taken over. In 1948, Israel regained independence, as foretold in Ezekiel 37:11-13 and reads: "Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel. When this happens, O my people, you will know that I am the Lord."
Jesus will be hated for no reason (Psalm 69:4). Fulfillment: John 15:25
Above are my references for this prophecy. If you met a random man on the street that offered you a hundred dollars, would you throw stones at him? I didn’t think so. The prophecy was made to say that when Jesus began his ministry, he would be hated without cause. WHY? If you read the verse Psalm 69:4, it says that Jesus will be "forced to restore what he did not steal." That obviously that came true. The guy was nailed to a cross.
My last one will be that the Crucifixion was foretold.
In Psalms (which for you less informed, was written well before the time of Jesus) the Crucifixion of Jesus was written in detail. Read it in Psalms 22 all of the chapter.
There are many many more I could put down, but here are a few major ones I thought you would like. If there is anything that you would like me to clarify, I will try my best. Realize I haven’t gotten to understand every element of the Bible (I’m 13). If these are true, how can you take the position that the Bible is filled with falsehoods and illogical references?
The thing with Ezekiel was that he was right when he said the city was permenantly destroyed. The old city which existed then was destroyed completely. (everything being swept into the sea) Realistically, I could build a city in my backyard and call it Tyre and contradict the Bible. BUT, what was being said was that the city would be completely destroyed. Aside of Isaiah, no reference was made to it being rebuilt. I believe that argument made sense.
Even though I haven’t been able to find any reference of the Immaculate Conception outside of the Bible, apparently Israel was just recently given its independence back google it, the Cruxifiction has been refered to many first century historians. Go to wikipedia and look under "Cruxifixion of Jesus". Also, Jesus being hated unjustly was the reason for his Cruxifiction, which was proved earlier. Hope those references are better for you.
Oh my goodness!
But hold the phone there Christian soldier. There is / are problems here:
Ezekiel also prophesied that Nebuchadnezzar would destroy Tyre, which would never again be rebuilt (26:7-14)
– but Nebuchadnezzar’s siege of Tyre failed to take the city, and Tyre still exists today.
A curious thing about this prophecy against Tyre is that Isaiah also predicted that Tyre would be destroyed, but, whereas Ezekiel predicted that Tyre would be permanently destroyed and "nevermore have any being," Isaiah prophesied that it would be made desolate only for a period of 70 years.
How about this: I predict somebody will attack somebody else, and they may win or not – or just a little.
See, it’s easy to play God. After all the illiterate sheep jockeys that lived thousands of years ago made up one that you still think is real.
And, you should be aware that is no evidence for the crucifixion – neither in contemporary historic records or from archaeological investigation.
The original Gospel of Mark includes no mention of anyone seeing a resurrected Jesus. Biblical scholars agree that is was added later to match the other Gospels – which all plagiarized Mark. But, since Mark originally made no mention of those things, the others must be fake also.
Someone complained in an Answers page- about people "Falling Under The Power" of Benn Hinn’s healings being FAKE, because they would "Fall under The Power," rise up healed, go home, then THE VERY NEXT DAY, find themselves in their former condition.
This is not news to me. Falling under The Power has happened back to Jesus’ Time. When it happened more prominently in Kenneth E. Hagin’s ministry in the early eighties, it spread like the… uh, like a *condition* through lots of ministies around the World. The "In Thing" became to have "Designated Catchers" to catch people who were prayed for by the "great men of God," lest "Their Great Anointing" fling them to the floor.
It was obviously unnecessary, and was disgusting to me at the time. The hypocrites, however, lapped it up!
Those through whom this started were not- at least at first- trying to hype anything. These things just happened, and they themselves did not know what to make of it.
The charlatans merely copied them.
This, however, does not mean that there are no genuinely anointed Healers and Miracle Workers.
I quit Pentecostal Churches in 1984, but retained an open mind. It took me seven years to find the Key Knowledge that enabled me to make full rational sense of my experiences.
I owe my life to "Divine Healing." I grew up in England, and was brought to Nigeria, where I became exposed to Malaria for the first time. By the time I heard The Gospel of Jesus preached with a view to informing us that we COULD be Saved- TODAY- my body was rejecting the only effective malaria treatment. at the time Every attack was worse than the one before it. It looked like this was going to kill me soon.
The first thing I learned was how to heal myself through prayer, with no drugs of any kind. I learned this within the first six weeks that I was "saved." I quickly found out that other supposedly Born Again Pentecostal Christians were not serious. They would claim to have JESUS in them- then go use drugs.
DEAR VINCENT Disciple of Primus: How can I be "the most gullible" for believing that a healing that only wears off the next day is not a REAL healing- when there are people who believe that they ARE healed, who NEVER experience their healing at all?
When Betty Price, wife of Frederick K. Price (author of Faith foolishness, and presumption) who at one point claimed to have received the same anointing Kenneth E. Hagin had during a Kenneth Hagin Campmeeting (I used to have the tape) contracted CANCER.
This man who had healed thousands was unable to heal his own wife. By one of those happy coincidences that happens routinely to those following spiritual paths, I came into possession of one of their ministry’s magazines, and in it was a picture of (the really beautiful) Betty Price (with her hair cropped short), and the caption: "Betty Price manifests her healing after enduring months of pain."
It is apparent that she must have resorted to medical procedures doctors prescribed.
The implications and ramifications of Betty Price’s cancer are that, NOT ONLY was her HUSBAND, who presumed to tell us how to believe in Jesus in that his obnoxious book, UNASBLE to heal her, but his friend, KENNETH E. HAGIN, who went to Heaven to receive a special anointing that specifically heals those who believe the story from a being claiming to be Jesus himself (there can be no doubt he did have such an experience, and had such a Power) COULD NOT HEAL HER.
NOR could ORAL ROBERTS, nor TOMMY LEE OSBORN, who were in the same city as Kenneth E. Hagin- Tulsa, Oklahoma- heal her. KENNETH COPELAND, also their friend and colleague, COULD NOT heal her.
These people received millions of dollars of dollars every year in Tithes & Offerings, because they claimed to be Ministers of God. They were believed to have Divine Healing Powers, and the ability to "Move the Hand fo God," as we called it, but they COULD NOT HEAL ONE OF THEIR OWN.
(YES); Simply Because the Healing was (NOT) "Real" to Begin With !
Needing to know if anyone has any good systems for determining how effective a particular ministry area is in a church. Will need to be making some of these kinds of evaluations in the near future and would welcome any advice.
I would simply examine the fruit. If it is fruitful (people being saved, delivered, healed, etc) then it’s effective. If people are more in love with Jesus and seek to know Him more and serve others, then great. If you do not see this fruit, then it is not effective. It may look great and have alot of support from others and may be effective elsewhere, but if it doesn’t bear fruit in your community of faith try something else.
There’s nothing more transfiguring than prayer. People often ask, "Why do you insist on prayer so much?" The answer is very simple – because Jesus did. You could change the title of the Gospel according to St. Luke to the Gospel of Prayer. It’s the prayer life of Jesus. The other evangelists say that Jesus was in the Jordan and the Spirit descended on Him as a dove – Luke says it was while He was praying that the Spirit descended on Him. The other evangelists say that Jesus chose 12 disciples – Luke says it was after He spent a night in prayer that He chose 12 disciples. The other evangelists say that Jesus died on a cross – Luke says that even when He was dying Jesus was praying for those who persecuted Him. The other evangelists say Jesus went on a mount and He was transfigured – Luke says it was while He was praying that He was transfigured. There’s nothing more transfiguring than prayer.
The Scriptures say that the disciples went to bed, but Jesus went to pray – as was His custom. It was His custom to pray. Now Jesus was the Son of God – He was definitely anointed for His ministry. If Jesus needed all that time in prayer, don’t you and I need time in prayer? If Jesus needed it in every crisis, don’t you and I need it in every crisis?
The story goes that a group of tourists visiting a picturesque village saw an old man sitting by a fence. In a rather patronizing way, one of the visitors asked, "Were any great men born in this village?" Without looking up the old man replied, "No, only babies." The greatest men were once babies. The greatest saints were once toddlers in the things of the Spirit.
C. H. Spurgeon was converted at the age of 16 and began preaching in London at the age of 19. When he was 27, they built him a tabernacle seating 6,000 which he packed twice on Sundays – that’s 12,000 – and once on Thursday nights. How? He waited on God. He got alone with God. He studied…and he prayed.
Interesting observation. Thank you.
Luke portrays Christ as a man of righteousness, a righteous man.
So then a righteous man is one of prayer.
All true prayer is inspired of God and so an expression of God’s will.
Christ told us,
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
If we abide and His words abide will not our desires become aligned with His?
So prayer glorifies God because we can ask for what God wants do and so it produces the fruit that He desires.
Plainly prayer can only arise out of a relationship and a growing dependence upon God and communion and understanding through His word, to learn what He is doing and joining with that.
Did not Anna do this, and served God with fastings and prayers night and day?
Then prayer must be and come from a life given over to God. A thankfulness to Him and rejoicing in Him, a sharing with Him and He sharing with us and a seeking of Him what He wants to do.
We cannot all be preachers or evangelists or the like, neither can we all do great and wonderful works, but we can all learn to pray if we are willing to yield our lives to live for Him.
Let us press on to that prize.
here is the story:Oasis Ministries operations in Andhra Pradesh, led by Pastor K. Paul and his sons, has posed as a Christian organization supporting 50 pastors, an orphanage, a home for the aged and disaster relief. Recent fund raising schemes include needing money to buy land, build a church or travel to conferences in USA or Germany.
Recently there have been allegations of financial fraud. It has been reported that 90% of financial aid has gone to support Rev. K. Paul’s family, with less than 10% going to actual ministry programs.
They have hosted missionaries, including me and shown them other churches, under the guise of Oasis, in a very elaborate scheme to defraud supporters.

Directly u can refer to the CBI & Media who can investigate the matter.
I’m the administrator of a church and basically service coordinator. I need to communicate with our video/audio/ministry leaders during service with some type of headset. I’ve seen other churches use them, but don’t know what they are actually called and where to get them. They are kind of like walkie talkies, but have some sort of in ear headset for easy communication.
You could easily use FRS radios and purchase the headset accessories for them. You can get these at any Best Buy or Circuit City. A pair of the radios with a 2 mile range are probably around $25 without the headset.
They do make internal communication systems that could cost more. Your best bet is the FRS route.
I am writing on behalf of a young church ministry – 5 years. We have been offered a wonderful opportunity to travel with our church choir to participate in the GoGospel Festival,
November 2007, which will be held in Kimnetz Germany. This will be a wonderful opportunity, as well as possibly the only opportunity, for our youth to experience international travel and expand their experience in music ministry and the arts.
We are seeking sponsorship as many of members are teenage, young adult, and some single mothers with multiple children whose finances would not permit them to participate otherwise. We have a delegation of between 10 -15 that would like to take advantage of this great opportunity and experience. If you know of any organzations that would offer grants and/or sponsorship, I would appreciate if you would share that information.
