My friend keeps on talking about it, and I was going to get it for her for Christmas. I went down to buy it today but there were like.. a whole heap of different CD’s.. I don’t listen to that kind of music so I had no idea what one to get.

She listens to rap, RnB, and dubstep I think.

i can assure you that ministry of sound cds barely contain any dubstep

no rap or r and b

they are mostly combined of house and trance music

and they are not even really that good a compilation

Many religious people tell me that God answers their prayers all the time. This is nice for them, I suppose. But, I wonder, if you believe that God answers your prayers, and then you watch the news or read the paper, you must see the tragedies that fill our world. And, if you think about it, you must wonder about the people who’s lives these tragedies affect. Surely many of them are good people who believe in God with all their heart–people who have prayed for help.

So, what happens when someone prays to God for a new baby, or a new job, or recovery from an illness, or something mundane like finding their keys? (I saw that last one on the Christian ministry show Marilyn & Sarah) What happens when God grants these prayers, but an abused child doesn’t get his prayer answered? Or a war victim doesn’t get her prayer answered? Or a whole town gets flooded, even the churches & day care centers? How do you feel when you believe your prayer was answered, but millions of others were not?

This is the most disturbing concept I find about Christianity, there is so much heinous barbaric stuff going on in this world but many people are self centered and turn a blind eye, I’m alright Jack. I was in Honduras last year during a big earthquake, it was 7.1, luckily it was in the ocean and happened at 3am, only 6 people died in the whole country and collapsed bridges di no harm because no traffic around. Not long after was the Haiti earthquake, which was devastating as we know. Honduras is 100% religious as many latin countries are, the people in Honduras said quote "God loves us much more than Haiti, we are blessed by his mercy because we are better people who pray to him"
It disturbs me that people are thankful to a God for helping them in any way, small or big like you say, passing exams, or someone is ill, but what about the child that lays sick with HIV in a bombay brothel, what about the dogs that are tied up all day in the sun on a short chain in the yards of these ever so religious Honduran people, what about the 1000s of people and animals suffering every day on a grand scale in numerous ways who may be very good, innocent people who also believe and pray to this so called loving God? I suspect most of the answers you will get to this question will based around statements like we can’t question God, he has a plan, only saved people get help, he can do what he wants with his creation because he is almighty etc. As for me I would feel too guilty to have my own prayers answered and too outraged to worship such a being who decides who to help.

I’m a 23 year women who has a ministry for hockey players I’ve been working closely with the minor league coach. I set up prayer partners and have prayed over the guys. In the off season I helped one of the players with his camp. I wanna pray over the boys more, maybe become their chaplain and do other stuff how do I ask him then prove I can handle

be confident.

Dont force the subject, but at a special moment, turn and say "I’ve been thinking, i know i can handle more responsibilities. Would you mind giving me some more work to do that could help me learn what it takes to becoming their chaplain?" and take it from there.

So im 14 and I want to get a bit more healthier because im starting to get chubby and I want to tone up and stuff, so do you know any websites with dance workouts like ministry of sound kind of ones?

Our nature is in danger, by clearing all controversial projects by Environment Minister. The very purpose of saving the earth is getting defeated by central minister. PM should close Environment Ministry and close all such departments.

It is too early to comment . There is some vested interest in some decisions and lots of politics. But we should understand the laws of the land are well intended and things will settle down and people would start being ‘honest’ and true. At least 75% of the projects would be assessed properly. You and me should pin hope on the honest persons in the ministry and hope things will be ok in the future.

A member of the church I attended had a Director of Bible Studies.

At one bible study, this individual asked for prayer and said "I am a Gambler" and continued to explain in detail how gambling had effected his life.

20 people were at the bible study and heard this. Should the person have been removed from their position as Director of Bible Studies? They are still there, sometimes sharing what gambling is/was doing to them.

I left the church because of this after speaking to the Pastor. The person is still teaching bible (last I heard still gambling too).

Since you are not too far from Lancaster, CA, consider attending Lancaster Baptist Church. The pastor is Dr. Paul Chappell. I can assure you that you won’t run into that problem there!

We make prayer shawls, hats and scarves for needy children, and other items. We are having trouble reaching out to people because of the lack of supplies. Is there anyone who is willing to donate yarn or cash to buy yarn? It would be greatly appreciated, and any donations will be included in our bulletin. Thank you.

Try www freecycle.org. You can join a freecycle group near you, and ask list members for their unused yarn. You can also get to freecycle through yahoo groups. Freecycle is a wonderful organization. Their goal is to find homes for unwanted items, and keep them out of landfills. You can post a "want" if you want a certain item, or "offer" if you have something to give away. It takes a bit of patience getting what you need, because as in life, there are more takers than givers on freecycle. When you post, give a brief explanation why you need yarn. Interested people will email you privately, and you can make arrangements to meet. For safety, the first time I meet anyone, I always arrange to meet them in a public place, like the post office or coffee shop. I have given away a ton of items, and I have received items too. Just remember that this is all free, no money involved. I have also made some great friends! Hope this helps.
