I have a clip from the Passion of the Christ movie that is layered over the top of a couple more clips for about 5-7 seconds on the intros of all of my ministry DVDs. I do offer the messages to the general public for a donation, even though the donation is not required. Do I need a license to do this or does this fall under some sort of fair use law?

1) Whether you are giving them away for free, asking for donations, or selling them for a profit is relevant only to the possible magnitude of any penalty. It is utterly irrelevant to the fact that this is copyright infringement.

2) Yes, you need a license from the copyright holder.

3) No, it’s not fair use. "Fair Use" would be if you were including a short clip in order to comment on it or review / criticize it.

I personally would never have twigged objective ministries was fake without being told because my time spent surfing Answers in Genesis has exposed me to such nonsense that it’s hard to spot the parodies.

I’m looking for the right song to use on a video that will be presented on a fund raiser. We want to promote our children ministry.

I want a good message about reaching out to kids. If the rhythm could be slower would be great but its not necessary.

The song doesn’t need to be Christian as long as it has a great message. Christian song preferred!

if you want a MP3 of it heres how you can do it. google has a free donwload called any video converter. after you download it, open it. there is a button on the top of the window that says youtube. press it. now go to the internet and find the song and copy the URL into the box that appears in the program. on the right side bar, press the arrow and press MP3 in the audio section. press convert and it will convert the file into an MP3. this is all free cuz i made a ton of mixed CDs for my PS3. hope this helps if you need more help, just ask
