honestly if you want to help the poor do it first hand not through a shady organization that will profit from it. yeah go ahead and tell me that there are good organizations that don’t do that, but who cares, if you wanna help do it yourself.

Well, google various words that concern doing of good works. You’ll find lots of organizations out there doing the work right now. If you get in touch with them, some of them might have enough time to email you some ideas how to get your program going, or how to make it more robust. They would also give you ideas for funding.

Gaining funding is something that hundreds of organizations are doing right now, so you will have to get in line. The folks with the best track records are the ones who get the funding, so your organization has to be able to show that it "can shoot straight," i.e., knows what it’s doing.

Then, so far as funding goes, there’s a source very close to home right now.

Jesus said to go and sell all you have, then take the money and give it to the poor. Lots of folks are doing that today in various different ways.

    God’s blessings….
