I would like to start a men’s ministry at my church?

I belong to a small church with less than 30 members and would like to begin a men’s ministry there. I would like to start it up myself because I don’t want to burden my pastor with the stress of running another ministry. My problem is that I am not as spiritually mature as others in the church nor do I have as much spiriitual knowledge. How can I go about starting an awesome men’s ministry?

Find out which other churches in your area have men’s ministries and visit them. Also, contact organizations like the National Coalition of Men’s Ministries and online discussion groups about men’s ministries for ideas.

I wish you success.

I’m sorry, but if you’re not spiritually mature and don’t have the proper knowledge, you should not even consider having a ministry. Study for several years, mature as a believer, and then speak with your Pastor about it.

Don’t do it. Remember what happened to all those priests.
