Healed through Kathryn Kuhlman’s ministry?

Our pastor recently read out a story about a man who died after being prayed for by Kathryn Kuhlman. He was using it as an illustration that she was a fake, and by implication, so were all others with a healing ministry.

No rude, personal opinions plase.

Have you or anyone you personally know been healed through Miss Kuhlman’s ministry, and importantly, remained healed? This would confirm that her ministry was indeed of God.

I know someone who had a progressively degenerative eye disease who was healed at a Kathryn Kuhlman meeting. I have another friend who used to wear glasses as thick as coke bottles, who did not need glasses any more after going to one of her meetings. I had a friend who passed away a few years ago, who saw a man on TV who was completely healed of terminal cancer at a Kathryn Kuhlman meeting (I believe his name was Captain Levrier). He became a preacher and my friend was prayed for by him and instantly and permanently delivered from a four pack a day cigarette habit, with no withdrawal symptoms.

You DO realize that someone claiming to be healed or cured doesn’t "prove" anything, right?

Eyewitness testimony is the least reliable form of evidence AND is easily faked in this case. Not to mention most health problems do indeed go away on their own.

    Anecdotes are not evidence.

I once saw a room full of adults claim to have healed a boy by praying over him. Truth was, the boy was still walking with a limp, still had a shortened leg, just none of the people around him would admit it because they wanted to believe their deity had granted them superpowers.

If it was possible to think someone well just by wanting it badly enough, there would be no such things as doctor’s offices or hospitals.

Pot calling the kettle black. They’re all shysters and con men selling you a line of bullshit in exchange for your hard earned cash. How much money have you give to your cult overseer? Why does the almight creator of everything need your cash to get stuff done?

Remember, "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can’t yet understand.

Religion is a disease of the mind, born of fear, which has done nothing but bring untold misery down upon the human race.

I take it your pastor has never "failed" after praying for someone?

Of course your pastor is going to say that even if she and others could produce a line of "healed" people. It doesn’t serve your pastor’s purpose for you to go around believing that someone else out there can do something he cannot.

Anyone can get on here and claim healing how would we know. Anyone can come on and say what you have said your pastor said who would know if he really said it but you and the people there. The same with healings. Get Kathryn Kuhlman books watch her tapes make your own mind up. I will say this about what your pastor said. Kathryn didn’t claim to be God. She claimed to know and serve Him. It is God who decides the healing. It is God who has set a time for each to leave this world. So his argument is ridiculous.
I personally think she was a mighty women of God!

Being healed by Kathryn Kuhlman or by any one else….. Kathryn Kuhlman was a wonderful minister of the Gospel….. but…. SHE heals NO ONE!!!!!!! NO MINISTER DOES!!!! The healing comes through the person’s faith in GOD, and GOD’S word. When a minister of the gospel prays for or lays hands on another for healing, they are doing what the bible instructs. Your pastor is judging and finger pointing…. this is NOT good. We are to NOT judge, but to look at fruit, and Kathryn Kuhlman had much fruit in her ministry. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone who had been healed by her now, since she was in ministry so many years ago. I think your pastor should find something else to preach about than someone else’s ministry who is not here to speak for themselves. Tell your pastor to take the log out of his own eye before he attempts to take the small stick out of someone elses.

pst: Jesus was NOT (yet) perfected in Luke 13:32. He
had to go "higher" to become "harmless": Hebrews 7:26.

POINT: there is no f-law at all in "perfection", so then
we leave f-laws to go on unto perfection: Hebrews 6.

Perfection = grace void of f-laws

There is no f-law in the end written to endure unto.

All healing comes from the Holy Spirit.

People get better without healers get better.

Your pastor could be wrong….that man who died could have received the ultimate healing by God. In heaven, there is no more pain, illness or suffering.

Healing is a spiritual gift from the Holy Spirit….there are many people anointed with this gift.

I myself have been healed of a melanoma….not through Kathryn Kuhlmans’ ministry…..but by the healing power of Jesus. My church has a healing ministry that is anything but fake….it’s a shame that your pastor does not believe the word of God.

Miss Kuhlman corrected people when they called her a "faith healer." She always gave the credit to God. Books with testimonies of healing have been published. See:
