I’ve watched the hour of healing a number of times – and here’s my impression:
It’s like they know a large number of people are watching and they will take common illnesses – and then say someone is being healed of an ulcer – or whatever. I’ve never heard them talk about any diseases that are rare like adrenal insufficiency or something (like 32 people in the entire state of Wisconsin..) – and I wonder about these huge stacks of prayer requests where they pray over the huge stack.. I think they’d be more believable if they said the name of the person, where they lived, what the disease was and then if that person said they were healed.. I think by people believing they’re going to be healed that they get healed, I do think people get healed, but I don’t know for sure that God is telling Richard and Lindsay about specific people, specific diseases, but He very well may be.. I dont know — what do you think?
It’s real, all right–a real cash cow.

Don’t forget, his daddy, Oral, hehe I said Oral, said that god told him if he didn’t receive x amount of dollars that god was going to kill him. Shame he didn’t. They’re all fakes. I grew up with these preachers literally. I was up close and personal in the healing services. It’s all bs.

It’s real. Real fraud, real funny, real absurd. If these people were getting cured left and right as it appears on these type of religious shows, CNN would be covering it. It would be a major new story why suddenly everybody was being cured of their illness.

there is a manifstation of the Spirit of God,
called "Word of Knowledge", where an individual, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, is given insight that cannot be gained through the five senses. In the case of a disease or disorder being called out, it would be for the purpose of rectifying, or healing it.
i have experienced this myself, both on the receiving end – being healed, and as God speaking unknown things to me and working through me to heal.
whether the legitimate gift is what you are seeing on a TV broadcast, or not, i cannot say. I can, however, attest these gifts do exist.
however, our enemy, satan, can also replicate them,
just like the egyptian magicians had counterfeit gifts
like what God did through Moses.
