Some of my favorite bands are the Pixies (Frank Black), Modest Mouse, Beck, Third Eye Blind, Replacements (Paul Westerberg), The Rentals, PJ Harvey, Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven. Although I listen to everything from Bach to Ministry to Tupac, I am having a hard time finding good NEW alternative music. Any suggestions?
Arctic Monkeys are really good.
Albert Hammond, Jr. is another one. Listen to "In Transit" and "Bright Young Thing".
And Incubus isn’t new at all but i love them and they weren’t on you list : )
I don’t know if you’ve heard any Feist or Kaki King, (they are both solo female artists) Download "Let it Die"..
and I’ve also been listening to Autolux and Trail of Dead.. (neither of which are new, but u might not have heard them).

Thats another thing I hate, all the bands are starting to sound the same! Even my all time favoirte band of several YEARS is starting and even dressing like other bands, it kills me ;( (Green Day btw if you people are wondering what band?)

these guys aren`t new but… silverchair, great band, i`m seeing them live on friday in ny get their new album young modern its just come out here in the states

I like Fiction Plane. Really good. I saw them when they opened for The police and immediatly bought their CD’s during intermission.

They arent considered an alternative band but Angels & Airwaves is a great band. They are different from most rock bands. They are the new generation of rock.(Thats what I think.)

it isnt realy new but ithink you might like the red hot chili peppers
or if you dont alredy hate them (alot of people do) try the white stripes.
