While Ministry flirted more with metal than say a Skinny Puppy or Babyland did, so I would think that the message would be a little more clear. When I first heard this song, I was in shock. I liked the song, but I said to my friend and cousin who were with me: This can’t be Ministry! However, this is the real Ministry – the music that Al wanted to make. The 1980s synth pop, while good, was manufactured. Al was told to fake an English accent and I’ll bet some songs were ghost written like “I Wanted to Tell Her”. So, you may like the old Ministry like I did, but this is the real Ministry and I like it too.
