It’s a part from a band called The Chariot.
Walk backwards. Say goodbye to what’s right. Understanding what makes this,
what makes us, what makes us right. God save this gun slinging generation.
"Tell God i will return in the morning." This Christ you preach, i know, but
who are you? Your hands are tied to blind men, whose hands are tied to blind
men. Figure eights. This pistol is my ministry.
What does the song or just that part mean?
It means that The Word of God is more powerful than any weapon.
One that says theve been healed at the healing ministry about there cured of beindead and blind.would they relyhave the nerve to lie in front of millioms on tv?
First off, before you come over and try to trash any religion, establish some decent grammar and spelling practices. My God! What is wrong with you?
prayer points:
-Lord let your mercy flow, cleanse and purge away every weight of sin amongst the brethren, from the leaders down to the least member.
-Lord open the spiritual eyes of every member in the choir, so that they will begin to understand your ways and also to know the purpose of the choir call and ministry.
-Lord let the ministry of the Holy spirit be made manifest in the life of every member of the choir (pour out your spirit upon the choir).
-Lord open the hearts of those under the ministration of the choir, so that they can be able to receive from you.
-Lord let your love be shared abroad in the heart of every member of the choir.
-Take authority over the works of the enemy, bind and cast them out in the name of Jesus.
I study the bible primarily on my own but I’m looking for more fellowship and involvement during the week. Right now I only attend church functions on Sunday,Saturday, and Wendsday. I’d love to find stuff on Fridays and Thursdays. Any suggestions how I can go about looking for these ministires? I live in Galveston county, Texas.
That’s too bad —being in Texas. In California we can GOOGLE!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone has heard a true account of being "called" by God to the ministry, what it was like, how the person knew that he was truly being led to devote his life to this.
This is not a question to make fun of the experience. I’d really like to know how the message was delivered, if anyone knows.
Did it come through a series of events, a personal voice of God in prayer or meditation, a miracle witnessed?
Here is a good article… which is nicely written… one of my brother’s is a Pastor, and I do know He felt a real fervent call to come forth, in this capacity, just as some are teachers, doctors… it is quite fascinating, when one speaks to people in all walks, even accountants, child care workers… they just have a real vocation for whatever capacity they are drawn to. I am saying some, not all. There is a great peace in my brother, so wonderful to see, so in His case, I am awed by His answer to this call. It can be so profound, a ministry that truly blesses others.
First, there is an inward call. Through His Spirit, God speaks to those persons He has called to serve as pastors and ministers of His Church. The great Reformer Martin Luther described this inward call as "God’s voice heard by faith." Those whom God has called know this call by a sense of leading, purpose, and growing commitment.
Charles Spurgeon identified the first sign of God’s call to the ministry as "an intense, all-absorbing desire for the work." Those called by God sense a growing compulsion to preach and teach the Word, and to minister to the people of God.
This sense of compulsion should prompt the believer to consider whether God may be calling him to the ministry. Has God gifted you with the fervent desire to preach? Has He equipped you with the gifts necessary for ministry? Do you love God’s Word and feel called to teach? Spurgeon warned those who sought his counsel not to preach if they could help it. "But," Spurgeon continued, "if he cannot help it, and he must preach or die, then he is the man." That sense of urgent commission is one of the central marks of an authentic call.
Second, there is the external call. Baptists believe that God uses the congregation to "call out the called" to ministry. The congregation must evaluate and affirm the calling and gifts of the believer who feels called to the ministry. As a family of faith, the congregation should recognize and celebrate the gifts of ministry given to its members, and take responsibility to encourage those whom God has called to respond to that call with joy and submission.
These days, many persons think of careers rather than callings. The biblical challenge to "consider your call" should be extended from the call to salvation to the call to the ministry.
John Newton, famous for writing "Amazing Grace," once remarked that "None but He who made the world can make a Minister of the Gospel." Only God can call a true minister, and only He can grant the minister the gifts necessary for service. But the great promise of Scripture is that God does call ministers, and presents these servants as gifts to the Church.
One key issue here is a common misunderstanding about the will of God. Some models of evangelical piety imply that God’s will is something difficult for us to accept. We sometimes confuse this further by talking about "surrendering" to the will of God. As Paul makes clear in Romans 12:2, the will of God is good, worthy of eager acceptance, and perfect. Those called by God to preach will be given a desire to preach as well as the gifts of preaching. Beyond this, the God-called preacher will feel the same compulsion as the great Apostle, who said, "Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!" [1 Corinthians 9:16, ESV]

I am looking for something to support and get involved in. Maybe a cause or a group.
Everywhere, dangit. Go find your neighborhood atheist and flood his/her mailbox with pamphlets until he/she finally realizes that Jesus is the best. Duh.
Just kidding, don’t do that…if you do I might have to flood your mailbox with Bibles, because people who do that clearly haven’t ever read one. If you want to make a difference the best thing you can do is follow Jesus with your entire life. If you’re doing it right people will notice. The second best thing you can do is become educated about your own faith and the faiths of others. Too many Christians these days are ignorant and when someone asks them a hard question they can only stand there with their mouths gaping. You don’t need to hop on a plane and go somewhere to do ministry…there’s a need right in your hometown.
If you have some money lying around you should give it to International Justice Mission. They’re freeing people trapped in sex trafficking and other kinds of slavery around the world. Or, if there’s another issue you’re passionate about, I’m sure there’s a nonprofit working to fix it.
My previous question was accidentally deleted by the system… I don’t know why! lol.
How do we serve to our God in this chat?
If we read a question and the Holy Spirit leads or quickens us to answer it, it may be for a reason. Often I have gotten a best answer on a question I really felt drawn to answer. I don’t think anyone who is lead by the spirit is on this site by chance. There are, however, a lot of people who really aren’t interested in giving an intelligent answer. And some who just like to mock others. I find this hard to understand, since time is precious. Why would someone waste time being hateful and mean. We need to be kind and wise in the giving of ourselves to other souls.
Hi I’m really inspired by ministers who just go out and preach and do t have to go through all that legal ridiculousness , everyday preachers like Charles spurgeon and Billy Sunday I’m really inspired by . So I was wondering how to book a place or an auditorium for my ministry ? Thank you .
You need a lot money to rent one depending on what size you want in seating Capacity, Advertisement on local TV and radio and newspapers perhaps,
Like the Nokia Center in Grand prairie Texas, You might call them and ask for those details

mind you, I don’t consider 5/10 a bad rating, it just means it is not something I personally find exceptional enough for constant listening, but will listen to occasionally, or like one or two tracks from. 7/10 represents a real good album, while 9 or up means legend/staple of the genre. (IMO)
